1899~ Expl. Dept., Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Derby. March 27th.1930. Restaurant-Octobon, Le-Canadel, Par-Le-Lavandou, (Var) France. Mr. Dodd from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} Many thanks for your letter of the 22nd inst. So far the best cure we have found for the radiator 'jellying' is to mount it on three points, which we think is a great advantage as it enables us to improve the steering without being afraid of the front of the car shaking. We are, however, afraid as you point out, that tightening up the semi-isolation too much does put too great a stress upon the body. We note your petrol and oil consumptions, which seem to be very good. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
