re. 20-HP Chassis - K.L.G.Ignition Plugs.

With reference to your Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}3/NJ6.3.24 - we are quite agreeable that one of our latest type ignition coils, Piece No. D.51121, should be supplied to the Robinhood Engineering Works Ltd.

It is possible, however, that they may not find this coil very useful for their test purposes, as it is a non-trembler type, and in demonstrating to them the test that we gave these Plugs during their visit to the Works, this test was carried out with an old type R.R. trembler coil.

Possibly before sending this coil, therefore, we think this point should be brought to their notice, as a present coil would not be of any use to them unless they are using it in connection with the make and break.

On the contrary, they may prefer a trembler type coil, in which case we could supply them with an old type pre-war trembler type coil, in which case we should first like to test this on our plug testing bench, to satisfy ourselves it is giving at least as good results as we are obtaining with our present test tackle.
