EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} c. to Dy.{F R Danby} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Dm.{D. Munro} X191 8b. Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}3/NJ17.3.24. Re 20 H.P.Chassis - K.L.G.Ignition Plugs. In reply to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}6/H7.3.24, the Robinhood Engineering Works Ltd. have written that they will be very much obliged if we will loan them a trembler type coil. I shall, therefore, be glad if you will prepare an old type pre-War trembler coil in readiness for despatch and I will send you a label to attach to same and also instruct Stores to despatch. With reference to yours EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}3/H5.3.24, the Robinhood Eng. Works hope to be able to give us a definite answer within the next week or so. They state they fully recognise the urgency of the matter and are not only making extended tests themselves, but are also having very accurate tests made at Faraday House from which they hope to obtain valuable data, of which they will only be too pleased to give us the benefit if it is of interest.
