Comparisons between TCC Wax & the RR Wax

Leakage tests on samples of the above wax have been carried. It will be seen that the T.C.C wax is far superior to the present standard wax, the high leakage of which probably causes the large capacity variation of the present condensers. The results are as follows.

T.C.C Wax
Leakage current unmeasurable at 15 & 40°C
& Insulation res at 60°C 4200 Megohms
" " " 80°C 3980 "
" " " 100°C 1088 "

R.R. Wax
Insulation res 20°C 265 Megohms
" 40°C 265 "
" 60°C 222 "
" 80°C 140 "
" 100°C 105.9 "
