V5300 Secret. GG. C. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} HYS/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 24.4.25. "INDIA". AUTHORISATION SHEET NUMBER 7. We find that a coupling rod between the clutch pedal and the clutch operating lever, which is instructed for "India", is not satisfactory for "India" plus FWB. I suggest that you give us your permission to introduce the coupling which is correct for "India" plus F.W.B. immediately it is available on "India", as the existing coupling rod will just foul the main tube carrying the servo when the clutch is fully depressed. A certain amount of scrap will be saved by introducing this straight away on "India". There will be no delay. At the same time, the angle of the clutch lever would be swung round approximately three or four degrees to suit the new coupling. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} are in agreement. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
