Date: 20. Feb 1928
Cut-out from chassis 44.UF
This cut-out is not entirely out of action, but the adjustment is bad. It cuts in (cold) at about 10 volts and falls out (with battery volts at about 12.0) with a little over 2.0 amperes reverse current. In falling out there is some vibration and sparking of the contacts.
The fixed point and shunt-coil are insulated OK from the base.
The moving point blade is not adjusted so that the tip rests on the armature.
Signed: (Contd)
This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work.
