Secret. To Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}.. from Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} 1044 804 Re: I.B.50. The locks for this body will be decided as the result of Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}'s enquiries. It is pointed out by Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} that our specification for this body makes no mention of ventilation, and he suggests that whilst louvres to the doors may be acceptable on Bentley 3, we may have to consider some form of Fisher Ventilation on B.50. We notice that this is provided on the Humber and Hillman cars. Would you kindly tell us which is the best form of Fisher Ventilation to apply, both from the point of view of cost and efficacy, when we will add this item to Messrs. Park Ward's specification.
