It seems certain that we shall want to use the battery arranged with all the cells with the long dimensions across the width of the car, that is to say, on the lines of figures 1. 2. 4. and 5. and 6. in the National Accumulator catalogue, rather than fig. 3. This is because the width is a very important factor, more important than the length. We should like to have your remarks on this point. You will remember that we indicated on N. sch. 3169. such a battery using the same cells as now but arranged in this same way.
