I have just heard that on Earl Beatty's P.III we have had a broken servo.

I do not know exactly what part broke but I understand it has been returned to Derby via JLE{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} who says that it might have meant a very serious accident.

It appears to be a case for special investigation - hence this memo.
