Bailey - Chief Engineer} c.c. to Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c.c. to Na.{Mr Nadin} for Mr. Southern. EFC15/T26.6.17. X. 2746 - STANTON TESTS OF ALUMINIUM ALLOYS X. 3041 - Specific Gravity and Brinell Hardness Tests of Aluminium Alloys. With further reference to our memo EFC2/T23617, in which the results of Stanton tests, Specific Gravity tests and Brinell Hardness tests, so far to hand were collected, will you please note that we have now to hand further results which we recorded on that memo as having been "not yet obtained". These results are as follows, and should be added to that list:- Stanton Test Figure for Alloy F2 2.37. Specific Gravity for Alloy L 2.79. " " " " A 2.90. Brinell Hardness for alloy L 43. " " " " A 80. The only Stanton result not yet obtained, is the stanton test figure for the antimony alloy which we shall have to hand shortly. We shall also be reporting on the Tensile Tests shortly.
