SHOCK DAMPERS. We have decided to run the steel bushed dampers off 8-EX on 10-G-111 in France on the front and in order to make the test more severe would like the loads to be 80 lbs. down and 40 lbs. up. On the rear we should like two std. dampers with levers and bushes fitted to the absolute minimum limit of clearance, the O.S. damper to have a forced oil feed to the shaft as per attached sketch. We should like dimensions to be taken so that we can accurately compare the wear on the shafts and bushes of the dampers at the end of the test.
