To Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} X235 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/LG14.2.27. AGREEMENT FORM. With reference to para.3 on Depot Sheet No. 22 - marked in red. As Depots are likely to be short of dampers, we suggest that the following alteration should be made to this statement. "Dampers on new type axle cars can be used on old type axle cars provided that the ball ends are changed over on the damper arms and that the original connecting links remain with the car. The low pressure loading will be slightly different, for this reason such changeovers are not recommended except in exceptional circumstances". Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
