re Dunlop Wire Wheels.
-----------

We are continually replacing broken spokes in these wheels, some cars having broken as many as 40 spokes in a few months. Several owners, chiefly to enable them to use all American makes of tyres, have had their wheels re-built by the Houck Company who built their wheels so that one spoke crosses four, and we have never heard of these spokes causing trouble.

The Dunlop Co. make one spoke cross three and this is the wheel that is always in trouble. Sketch shows the difference between the two makes.

Spokes are same thickness in both wheels.
