Dear Sirs,

Referring to your Mr. Alfred Woodhead's visit to our Works of today's date, we wish to confirm the decisions arrived at, so that there shall be no misunderstanding as to what the proposals really consisted of. A summary of the points discussed and the conclusions arrived at is given below:-

(1) Modifications to the present type of rear spring which are to be put into force at once.

a/- The nibs and slots provided in the various plates added for side location purposes are to be deleted for all plates in which they have not been produced.

b/- R.R.Ltd. are to produce forgings for clips suitable for locating the spring plates sideways, in order to take the place of the nibs and slots.
