RADIATOR SHUTTERS. X.3499

With reference to the complaint of the too rapid opening of the shutters initially, we believe Derby are experimentally determining the most suitable arrangement of levers. In case not, however, we send herewith N.sch.2837 shewing how by very slight changes the initial shutter movement can be reduced to one-third the present amount.

It is intended as a suggestion as to the direction of improvement. It may be found that slightly less improvement will do.
