Simms St/Motor Type FV'SM.524 S'S'2'51. Serial No.5472J. The above type St/Motor was received in the Lab. for examination and report after removal from 100 hrs. Type Test Engine B.40 MK.2A/4. No. 83/. The motor was dismantled and all components inspected and found to be in very good condition. There were no score marks on the commutator, brush wear was negligible and bedding 100%.
