A.{Mr Adams} Rowbotham Esq., Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., Derby. Dear Bill, Just a line to confirm the arrangement made on the telephone. You will send a man to pick up my car at the Shelton Iron, Steel & Coal Coy. Ltd., Stoke-on-Trent, at 10.30 Neville will bring me over, and we will endeavour to be at the Midland Hotel by 1.00 o'clock, where we will hope to find you. When my car reaches the Works, if you think the servo has been damaged by the application of oil, you will re-line it. I should also like you to investigate the other two points which I raised - 1. The dither in the steering column controls. 2. The vibration felt on the floor boards when the foot is taken off the accelerator at 60 m.p.h. and over. I also want to demonstrate to you all the bodywork defects. Neville's car is suffering from a fierce clutch. If this can be put right fairly quickly, he will probably like to have it done. RFS/HC. Yours ever, Dick. | ||
