8 / 7901 To C. From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ.14.4.34. Re. B.65.AE. Richard Summers. Replying to C.14/C.12.4.34. We have no alternative but to agree with Mr. Summers criticisms. As regards No.1 it is a fact that we are preparing to fit the Phantom type control to the Bentley as soon as possible but we shall not be able to do this retrospectively. As regards the second criticism, we know all about this. There are experiments in hand but we cannot promise at the moment any improvement and when it is available it is very doubtful whether it will be applicable to existing cars.
