Part supply and assembly difficulties for the Rippletto Chassis supplied by John Thompsons.

RE ASSEMBLED FRAME AS SUPPLIED BY JOHN THOMPSONS. With reference to the above, Les has discussed with us difficulties which confront him in getting John Thompsons to supply this frame. He is of the opinion that Thompsons will have to be coaxed to even assemble the frame, and does not consider that they will produce any new parts additional to those that have already been made for this frame. Les suggests that we should produce all parts not already made, with the exception of the standard BV pieces, which Thompsons will already have. We have mentioned this matter to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RH{R. Hollingworth}, who has raised the question of how he can obtain quickly the necessary material to enable him to make these parts. This query we have put back to Les, who assures us that he will have no difficulty in getting this material(16SWG-.064 sheet) for us.
