X3806 To BY/NW.{N. Walker - Patents} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gy. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gyl/LG16.5.29. RE. CLEANING OF FILTERS ON CENTRAL OILING. The filter behind the Enots nipple in the front axle should be cleaned in petrol every 20,000 miles. The felt filter in the bottom of the Bijur pump should nominally be removed and cleaned every 20,000 miles. If however it is suspected that the pump is not working satisfactorily, we should advise that this point be immediately inspected. The gauze filter in the mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} actual container should be left alone. We will issue Depots sheets for this point. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.Gaye. | ||
