1033 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}7/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 8th March, 1937. The Zenith Carburetter Co.,Ltd., Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, Middlesex. For the attention of Mr. Turner. Dear Sirs, With reference to the Writer's conversation with Mr. Turner, it was agreed to send us a triple diffuser carburetter 48 HKB. to replace the existing 48 HAZ. now in our possession which has proved unsuited to our requirements. You will recall that with the carburetter you supplied a set of chokes and main and compensating jets, which are, unfortunately, not suited for the 48 HKB. Of these timing spares we have modified the 36 m/m choke and three jets, and we should be glad, therefore, to know if you would be willing to exchange the remaining undamaged parts for those corresponding to the new instrument. If you should be agreeable to this, and will let us know, we will have the various chokes, etc. despatched to you at once. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
