door, due to the violent load exerted by the check stop. This is now catered for by adding elasticity to the stop and by using bolts for the hinge instead of screws. This body will be brought up-to-date in this respect.

(8) FINISHERS.

The fit of the finishers was complained of as being rather ragged and we agree. Water having entered the screen had destroyed the polish.

(9) LID{A. J. Lidsey} OF PETROL FILLER.

The lid{A. J. Lidsey} in the boot giving access to the petrol filler had developed so much slack at its hinge that on closing one easily damaged the paintwork. This hinge will have to be made a better job.

(10) WATER IN SUNSHINE ROOF.

Water has leaked in the sunshine roof at the nearside front corner. Later cars had a baffle over the drain hole to stop wind pressure blowing the water over the gutter and this car will be brought up-to-date. Our latest design has a side outlet to the sunshine roof to prevent such trouble as this occurring.

(11) WIRING.

The owner complained of the poor wiring to the wing lamps and also to the direction indicators where a short had occurred. This is, of course, the coachbuilders' wiring.

(12) SCREEN WIPERS.

The Klaxon screen wiper blades will not park in the down position when the screen is opened. They blow up and become a nuisance. This is a point that needs taking up with the Makers.

(13) WATER.

Water runs into the scuttle because it collects in the groove on the top of the scuttle necessitated by the top hinge of the bonnet. It is suggested that some form of drain should be provided for this recess.

(14) REAR BOOT.
