Details and dimensions of 9 and 11 plate Exide and Dagenite batteries.

Condition of 11 plate Dagenite after running 18.000 miles in 6 months.

There was no appreciable strain on either the positive or negative plates after a high-rate discharge of an average of 1108 ampere for 18 mins 40 sec. In a 10 Hour rate the capacity was 67 ampere hours.

On inspection the battery was found to be in a very good condition, there was however a slight buckle in the positive plates but no signs of any sulphation which may have been responsible for this.

The amount of paste in the bottom of the container was almost a negligible amount considering the number of miles traveled and the time the battery had been fitted.

The average discharging current to battery volts of 8. of 11 plate and 9 plate Exide and Dagenite (P.R) is scheduled below with the capacity of

PTO
