VALVE GEAR (B.60 & B.80 UNITS).

Further to our specifications for B.60 and B.80 units respectively in which EB.4401/2/3, valve spring and top and bottom washers were called for, these have been tried and several valve springs have failed.

They should therefore be deleted from the instructions for the above engines.

Until a satisfactory spring has been found, continue with EB.3256 valve springs, E.88709 top washers and EB.3990 bottom washers as per LOP.EB.3990 for immediate use.

For trial we should like a set of EB.4373 springs and EB.4374 bottom washers which go with standard E.88709 top washers.
