Referring to the discussion following the last Conference, in order to ensure that in future there will be no divided interests dealing with Park Ward & Co. I have decided that nothing in connection with body work will be dealt with at Derby, and in pursuit of this I have informed Messrs. Park Ward & Co. this week, who were expecting Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}, that pressure of work prevented him giving this matter his attention, and the bodies were to be despatched as finished, and would be conjointly considered by Mr. Pinney, Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}, Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}, and myself at Derby, after we had had an opportunity of considering same.

In the past it has been our practice to draw an outline of the body in order to enable us to allot to front and back compartments the necessary space and seating conditions for comfort. This, however, is not necessarily a part of our commitments, and can be done equally well by Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} in conjunction with Park Wards or any other body maker, who may be selected, the form and capacity of the body having been decided. A drawing of this can be supplied to Derby, and the frame dimensions necessary to suit this would be produced. This should not entail any disabilities at Derby, and would put the control of the body work completely into the hands of Sales, and there would then be no reason for anybody from Derby expressing views which were not absolutely in accordance with those held by Sales to the coachbuilders responsible for building the body.
