600a. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}3/R.7.2.38. With regard to Sgl7/E4.2.38, concerning Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} reporting poor petrol consumption on 26.G.VI, when the car first went to France it only did a consumption of 9.4 m.p.g. driven hard, but since attention to a sticking choke, has a consumption on the last Daily Report of 11.7. This is about .3 m.p.g. inferior to 22.G.V., the last 25/30 that was run in France. We had previously found out in England that the Wraith consumption was not as good as the 25/30, and experiments are in hand on the Induction System in an endeavour to improve it.
