When completed, this whole unit would be crated and sent to Derby. Apart from the difficulty and expense one is inclined to fear that such a procedure would cause a certain amount of suspicion.

(3) The third suggestion is still less satisfactory from the body point of view. it is that we should buy a body completely panelled and finished in Works Grey, and that at Derby we temporarily create a small body shop in which we fit the wings and valances which we should obtain by outside contract from some firm who specialise in making these products. Such an organisation would prove very useful to us, and no doubt after we had gained some experience, the finished job would be quite good.

The body position at present is as follows :-

The latest arrangement, as agreed by CJ., is to make both bodies at Barkers.
