48695 PN{Mr Northey}8/DN12.3.25. TO Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Secret. FROM PN{Mr Northey} Re E.A.C. It is more than likely that we may have elaborately to justify the existence of our new automatic ignition control, in view of criticism which may arise when publication occurs, as to the device not being necessary or being very complicated. CJ would like us to think out and suggest any set of tests or laboratory trials which might illustrate the fact that a better performance can be achieved by automatic regulation in this manner than by any other method. Would you be good enough to let me hear any ideas you may have on this point, and when I see you next, I should like to discuss the matter ? P.N. PN{Mr Northey} | ||
