contd :- -2- does not move with a pull of about 1½ lbs. it is probable that grit is present between the two relay pistons. The relay should therefore be dismantled as follows :- The split pin retaining pin K.46465 should then be extracted and the pin withdrawn. The oil pipe to the bottom of the oil relay should be disconnected. Nut E.72505 having been unscrewed, the filter and case can be removed together with inner piston E.72503. This latter should be carefully washed with paraffin as also the cylinder in which it works. The whole relay being dismantled in the reverse order - before replacing the cap, the extremity of lever E.72459 should be lifted to ascertain that the inner piston is working quite freely.
