LUCAS P.100 HEADLAMPS.

Replying to your Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}11/KW.16.5.35., there is no reason for altering any item on our original request for modification of the above headlamps as reported in our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.11/MA.8.4.35. Referring to Messrs.Lucas's letter of the 14th instant they fail to realize that our complaint regarding the cause of black out was not due to the incorrectly dipping reflectors but to the bulb feed wire breaking loose and the dipper unit bracket fracturing.

We are afraid therefore that it will be necessary for us to insist on Messrs.Lucas carrying out the modification requested if we are going to satisfy our customers and prevent the annoying frequency of trouble with headlamps.

I should be interested to learn of the result of Mr.Thackers visit to you on the 16th instant.
