DERBY.

Dear Mr. Grylls,

We thank you for the crown wheel and pinion which we have received with your memo. HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel}10/BA, No. WG{Mr Gill - Financial Director}/F 32237. We take it that these are the parts, to which you refer in your letter of the 25th instant, which you were sending to us for the Exhibition at the Science Museum in connection with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Mr. Evans is at present away on holiday, but we should be glad if you would kindly let us have a short description of your exhibit, of about one hundred words, to include in the catalogue which is now being prepared.

Yours very truly,
