Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Major Searight.

20 HP. TELEGAGE.

You are correct in your assumption that the tank from which you evolved KS.175 had been drilled incorrectly so that the air line connections were facing straight ahead instead of at an angle as on the 'SS{S. Smith}'. This was due to a D.O. error and we will send you a correct drawing as soon as one is available.

We will try and let you have another tank, if you require it, but in the meantime it is essential that any further tank units you supply where we quote KS.175 will have to be suitable for air lines of 45°.

We much regret that the tank we rushed off to you should have had the unit at the wrong angle.

We hope to let you have the results of differential tests of over-night loss in the next few days.

Yours faithfully,
