Dear Sirs,
We beg to enclose a copy of further pumping tests continued on Tank F.79192, prior to the writer's arrival at your works on Tuesday last.
The estimated amount in the tank was probably not strictly accurate in either of the tests shown on this sheet, inasmuch as 4.75 gallons were taken out of the tank, whereas the estimated quantity according to the calculations, should have been 4.2 gallons, thus showing an error of about ½ gallon, in comparison with the figures given under the heading "Approx. in tank."
Although the distances may appear rather long in the case of this installation, it must be remembered that the average consumption of this car is about 18 m.p.g. against
