E.Y.E. x3839 15-7-29 J.D.15. x46178 Re Tests on SS{S. Smith} Battery (180) On Low Rate Discharge this battery gave 27.4 ampere hours. No's 2 & 3 cells showing positive weakness. After a full charge it was given a high rate discharge as follows. Initial amperes = 102.0 Time to 100" = .6 min " " 90 " = 1.2 " " " 80 " = 2.5 " All cells showed negative weakness. This battery has now 37 months old & has ran 14,767 miles & has been on our bench life test 21 mths.{Reg Matthews} No 3 cell (An Eouide with a pieces of the grid bars facing inwards) was originally in SY battery. It appears as though it will fail in a very short time. This cell has ran 9014 miles & has been on our bench life test 37 months G.J. | ||
