x 600 3. Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.6/KW. 24th June, 1936. Messrs. S. Smith & Sons (M.A.) Ltd., Cricklewood Works, LONDON, N.W.2. For the attention of Mr. Grose. Dear Sirs, When your representative, Mr. Grose, was here last, he told the writer that you could supply us with thermometers of the Negretti & Zambra type (such as we used here for experimental work) with an accuracy of at least + 1°C. if we require them. We should like to know whether you could make such thermometers with the capillary tubing of the same type as used on the Negretti & Zambras thermometers; i.e., completely flexible - and what your quotations for such a thermometer would be. We are only likely to require them in small quantities for experimental work and if suitable our first order would be for four. An early reply would be appreciated. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
