| ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: EFE Order No. AC40 Customer's No. X.4333 Date: 9th Feb. 1925. X.4333 Further test of 8c/s 20hp Z Brushes This test has now been completed on dynamo B and tests commenced on dynamo C with annealed comm. The brushes from B are smooth but not highly polished and are slightly darker at the trailing than at the leading edges. The commutator is also reasonably smooth and uniformly coloured on most segments, but with some slightly burnt. There was a slight amount of sparking whilst running.
