For Mr.Leslie's attention.

Dear Mr.Leslie,

I thank you for your letter of the 25th instant. We are looking into the lumpy-feel on the control with a view of getting over this difficulty.

Your sketch No. RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}344 seems, as you say, promising and may be utilised to advantage, although I do not like the lever position. However I think we can overcome the objection to this as it cuts the cam action out.

By the way, at the moment I have arranged to be in Birmingham on Wednesday next (7th April) and if you are going to be at the Works on Tuesday I would like to call on you on Tuesday afternoon.

Perhaps you would let me know if this will be convenient for you.

Yours sincerely,

p.p.THE GORDON ARMSTRONG PATENT SUSPENSION CO.LTD.
