Dear Mr. Armstrong,

Thank you for your letter of the 31st. ult.

We shall be very pleased to see you Tuesday afternoon.

I suggest that we should meet for lunch at the Midland Hotel, Derby about 12.45 p.m.

With regard to the lever position for the hand control dampers, it appears that in any case we should require a cross-shaft for the control further forward than the dampers, in order to get clearance for the propellor shaft on full bump. If a cross-shaft is necessary it does not appear to matter which of the 2 different lever positions are used.
