EFC. from Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} X7791 Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}10/T9.9.27 Watford Sleeveless Magneto. EFC2/T6.9.27. The magneto you handed to us for test type EW.6. No.99802 developed a pronounced knocking noise in the course of a run of about 40 miles. As you have heard it for yourself on a chassis, I do not propose to say anything more about it. The magneto is returned herewith. As a sparking machine it functioned quite well during our test.
