SHOCK DAMPER GLAND HS. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1042. In order to copy the glands which we are testing and which we are now running in France, it is necessary that the pressure ring Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1041 should be a tight fit both on the shaft and in the gland cover. Hancock reports that this is intended to form a metal seal. Until we have completed further tests with this scheme we think production glands should be made exactly similar to those running in France. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Les. | ||
