SECRET. x2061 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} To H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}C. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}RV.HDV.Brv Wilson Type Gearbox. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/E7.3.35 Thanks for E.2/HP.6.3.35. You may have heard that we have fixed up for the car in question and the 20/25 with the smaller wheels to come along to Bignall's Corner on Tuesday next. I was hoping also that we might have had the SpectreCodename for Phantom III with springing arranged (as per my last note) at least as good as the Cadillac. If you could conveniently spare the time, I should be glad if you could come along as well as it is so much easier to deal with some of these points on the spot by conversation rather than by memo. I was going to try to bring a Vauxhall with independent springing so that we could see what it is like for hump backed bridges. It is, as you know, a cheap car which has been sold in large numbers and it would be interesting to know whether it suffers from the same characteristic. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
