(15) SHOCK DAMPERS.
35-MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} is allotted to Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} for shock absorber tests.

(16) 35-MX.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}
Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} will issue a specification for 35-MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} so that it can be re-built and usefully employed, while the parts which have completed 15,000 miles are being examined.

Amongst other things it is agreed temporarily to fit:-
(a) The latest up-to-date engine now on the test bed fitted with a short duration camshaft.

(b) Gearbox No. 7 with overdrive.

(c) Steering removed from 38-EX.

(d) A temporary axle propeller shaft and exhaust system.

This car will go down to Park Wards to have the body removed on Friday, and return for the work to be carried out on the chassis.

WRAITH.
(1) FRAME STIFFNESS.
Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} will complete existing series of tests on Wraith I, and it will then be handed over to APM. for frame stiffness tests to be carried out at Shardlow.

Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} will prepare the tackle for carrying out the same job on the weigh-bridges.

(2) BRAKES.
APM. will rig up a car with what is recommended as the finest braking proportions.

(3) DAMPER CONNECTIONS.
Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} will see E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} regarding silent type rubber shock absorber connections.

(4) CLUTCH ENGAGEMENT.
Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} will try a link on the Wraith engine mounting.

(5) WRAITH TRANSMISSION RATTLE.
Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} to write Taub with regard to what Vauxhall's did to remove their over-run rattle.
