Dear Capt. Wilkes,

I have now gone into the Chrysler patents on "floating power". The only claim they have as far as I can make out is that the line joining the two points of their mounting is not parallel to the crankshaft centre. As you will see from the attached letter the points raised on the job were anticipated by us. We have not a copy of the actual Chrysler patent, but you will doubtless be able to get hold of this.
