Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your letter of the 27th inst., regarding the two small carburetters which you are using on your 40-50 H.P. engine. We note your remarks about the susceptibility to the position of the air intake and its effect upon distribution. We fully agree that this is likely, but we do not agree that the remedy is in the air intake. We suggest that the remedy should take place in the induction system itself. However the writer will be in your neighbourhood on Monday next, and will call upon you, when perhaps you could favour him with half an hour's discussion on the matter.
