Dear Sirs,

We are very disappointed with the results of the 2 small car carburetters which you supplied us for our 40/50 HP. engine.

One of the main troubles appears to be that they are extraordinarily susceptible to the position of the air intake, and to get reasonable distribution with any induction system we require several different air intake positions for different speed.

As we are rather pressed for time on this job and therefore cannot develop these carburetters, we should like to know whether you have any small aero carburetters on the lines of those which are used for our old Falcons which you think we could adapt for this purpose. The barrel throttle will give us the opportunity of adapting these carburetters to the job with considerable rapidity.

Yours faithfully,
