To J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} COPY. R17/P 22. 7. 14. CHANGING OF STEERING TUBES AND CROSS STEERING LEVER. With reference to the changing of the steering tubes and the cross steering levers, I think it would be best if these were changed slowly at the Repair Dept., as suggested by Mr. Wormald. This will be a moderate policy, and better as is the opinion of the Derby Officials. The parts might be sent to the cars abroad when they are such a long way off, as they are easily changed by any ordinary fitter.
