COPY LETTER RECEIVED FROM: Major-General C.F.E.Curtoys, Grey Wethers, Tavistock, DEVON. 4th September 1936. Dear Sirs, Re 3½ Litre Bentley 1936. I am much obliged for your prompt reply though I did not mean you to send a new pump. I am in communication with Messrs Bentley, Derby, and have already had a new pump installed but it is no better, so at least the trouble, want of power, and hesitation when pulling at speed, may not be due to a defective pump. They are sending me a mechanic to try and remedy the trouble, and meanwhile I will either keep your pump until the mechanic has been, or return it to you direct, as you wish. Yours truly, (Sgd.) C.F.E. CURTOYS. | ||
