OUR LETTER SENT TO: Major Gen. C.E.E.Curtoys,
Grey Wethers,
Tavistock,
DEVON.

5th September 1936.

Dear Sir,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 4th instant.

By all means keep the pump until such time as your troubles are overcome. We are afraid that there has been some delay in sending this, the reason being that the Bentley pump is a special job made for Messrs Rolls-Royce only, and normally serviced entirely by them; consequently, we do not have service stocks, and we were therefore unable to get a pump off the same day.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE S.U. COMPANY.
