SECTIONS 6130 7043 Full Please receive herewith G.CD.250 Modfn. to Girling Adjuster Unit to improve clearances, and a stop to limit the adjustment. The above scheme incorporates the following modifications :- (1). A chamfer has been added to the adjuster plunger, a slight alteration made to the rear brake shoes and the shape of the pad under the adjuster housing on the front brakes has been modified. (2). A definite stop to limit the adjustment has been provided by extending the set screws to work in slot machined on the plungers. (3). The square on the end of the adjuster cone has been deleted and replaced by a hand wheel on the rear brakes only. The scheme calls for modifications to the standard girling adjuster cone and plungers. The question of adding the modifications to the standard girling pieces will have to be taken up with Hudsons.
