1042. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/R.3.5.39. We are now anxious to dispose of the following experimental cars:- (1) 35-EX - A close-coupled P.III. We cannot justify the expense of running this as an experimental car any more. The only outstanding work we have to do is the simpli-fied bottom tappet mechanism to prevent camshaft wear. We can do most of the development work on this mod-ification on the Test Bed, but when this is completed should like to run it on the road on a car which is under the Company's supervision. Possibly 35-EX could be used on the Company's business in some way, and these tappets run at the same time. (2) 28-G.VI. This is a close-coupled Wraith. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
